Living Large at the Lockhart's!

Well, Saturday we officially moved all our stuff out! We were served by so many guys in our church who did all sorts of loading and unloading and reconfiguring once it got here... everything we own in stored in the garage and downstairs at the Lockhart's house! It's incredible how much stuff a family of four can accumulate! The plan right now is to store it here until June 1st and then move everything into a storage unit and we'll move into my parents basement until we can move into "our" house in the summer sometime. I say "our" house because we don't have anything signed yet, but it looks like we're going to get this house we love in Medford. It's a single story town home that looks really small from the outside, but it huge on the inside. A little short on storage space, but huge on living space! There are so many transitions going on right now, I'm overwhelmed by it all, but more overwhelmed by how HUGE God's grace is... Jake and I are doing terrific together and overall Mackenzie and Aubrey are handling everything really good too! Aubrey slept for 6 hrs straight two nights in a row and that's making a huge difference! We'll keep updating on the house situation and also about Aubrey's EKG tomorrow... I just have to figure out how to turn on their computer... I have no idea what I'm doing!

  1. Wow, Julie...you are in a season of transition in so many ways. It is encouraging to see how you are lapping up God's grace and believing Him to carry you through what could be a trying time. Jake is obviously doing a great job leading you and shepherding your heart. How kind of the Lord to provide so abundantly for you in the midst of your 'homelessness'! Can't wait to hear about the house and will be praying for Aubrey's cardiac appt tomorrow.
    Love,Kathi

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
