The Big Girl Bed!!

We officially transitioned Kenzie to my old bed so we could use her crib (that we had set up as a toddler bed) for baby Lucy! Thank you Aunt Anne for Christmas money to buy new sheets with! She picked out these Hello Kitty ones... and I can't figure out why? She by-passed Dora and Belle for Hello Kitty... go figure!

What did Aubrey think about sleeping in her crib that night?

Awww... good thing "Silky" was there to make it all better for her!

Baby Lucy is growing bigger everyday!!

Cousins-to-be... can't wait to meet their little one and find out what it is!!

So what have we done the past few days trapped in the house?? Well... I've tried to pull out every craft and baking project I can think of... but I'm running out of ideas and my kids only want to watch movies and eat junk food! We've got to get out of this house soon!!

Yesterday we ventured out to the frozen lake... the girls weren't as impressed as I thought they'd be!

We did have a good time on the swings and slide though... it just felt so good to get some fresh air!

And for those freaking out that I let my toddlers walk on a frozen lake rest assured that it was really thick and if they had fallen in they would have only gone up to their ankles... we stayed where I knew we could all still stand just in case!

Barbies, Ballet, and NO Brothers...

Well, we got our news! We are expecting a healthy little girl to join our family the end of May! That will give us 3 girls under 4-year-old! That means they will all be in high school together at the same time!! That means that in the space of 4 years we could be paying for 3 college tuitions and 3 weddings!! Our heads are still swimming, if you can't tell! This whole pregnancy has blown us away, so boy or girl, our heads would be swimming anyway...

Yesterday we had a playdate with our friend Elaina and even though our girls won't be this close in age, these pictures gave me a glimpse of what we have to look forward to these next few years!

On a side note: we had a very big girl who went to her first dentist appointment this week and left with a certificate saying she had very healthy teeth! She's been asking every day since then when she can go back to the dentist :) He obviously made a good first impression!

Boy or Girl???

Cooking with Tia and her baby... look the cousins are friends before they're all even born! Mackenzie has been very busy in her room today "cooking" for me... should I be concerned that she's using the people from her nativity scene and not food from her play kitchen??

And just a couple cute quotes... I actually have one from Aubrey this time! Aubrey stood at the bottom of the attic stairs when Jake went up there and put up her arms and said, "I catch you!" It was so precious!
Kenzie got ice cream tonight and at the end of her bowl she ran to the show Jake her "ice cream juice!" (e.g. melted ice cream!) Thought that was pretty cute too!
Nothing new... just wanted people to vote on what we're having... we find out boy or girl next Tuesday afternoon!!

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
