First Days At Home

So what happens when Daddy needs a break and Mommy is nursing?? Dirt baths, of course!
Poor man sat down for 5 mins in all the time he had off and this is what happened!

My first day on my own and my best friend and Mom came and helped me! Lucy got her first real bath from Memom... she gave my others their first baths too!

Notice the "helper" peeking over :)

Uncle Andy finally got to meet her on Friday last week! She was one week old!

Poppop and Mommom trekked over to meet her last Friday too! We had an outstanding visit with them! They brought us dinner, presents for the girls, they took the girls out on a wagon ride while I nursed, Mommom played make believe with them for hours, and we enjoyed playing cards with them when we finally got the girls down!

We tried to do a photo shoot with the girls and Sophie on Sunday afternoon... but it was nap time and bad attitudes abounded!

This is the only one that is half way decent!

We tried to get pictures again today... but Aubrey just refuses to cooperate for this!

Oh well... such is life with a two-year-old!

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
