Lucy's Visit with her Big Cousins!!

Aunt Sam came to meet Lucy this past Sunday! She brought Kayla and Conor with her... and Lucy absolutely loved Kayla! (I'm sure she would have loved Conor too, but he was busy playing with all the "boy" toys we could find around here!)

Big cousin popsicle time! Notice Aubrey's outfit, it is rare to get a picture of her when she isn't in some kind of get up like that... she is always playing dress up!
All the cousins enjoyed painting together!

Last night Jake got out his guitar (it's been ages!) and he enjoyed some time with his back up singers!
I love this!!
Feeling so so so so blessed for my life!!

Pocono Family Vacation 2011

We had so much fun on our family vacation last Sunday thru Friday! Here are pictures of some of our many memories together!
Aubrey was such a good big cousin!
My mom brought a box called, "The Fun Box of Fun!" and in it were tons of games, coloring books, markers, playdough, etc. The girls were entertained the whole time with it! Here is this awesome princess fishing for jewels game she found!
The first night we all played Andrew's Kinect together... it made for some really funny pictures!

That night we also played a game (I forget what) and we may have made fun of sweet Angie a little too much because she started crying and had to be comforted by Jeff...
The courting couple!! Brit added so much to our family vacation, so great to have her with us!
On Tuesday the guys went off and played paintball in the woods together. Andy did such a great job of collecting all kinds of different guns before hand and they had a blast for hours together in the woods!
My favorite recent picture of Jake... he is such a hunk!

Andrew is so weird... so is his wife!
All the men in full paint ball gear!
Making peanut butter bread... what my girls live on!
Hugging the mighty warrior!
He was exhausted!
I love her little finger, I don't know what she was telling him, but she had a point!
LOVE!!!

Photo shoot with Poppop in his Father's Day shirt. It says, "My Granddaughters walk all over me!" and has their little feet prints on it!

Sisters...

Wait...
Here it comes...
Blurry, but this captures how most photo shoots with Aubrey are going right now...
This hot tub was a hit! The girls swam in it all the time! They thought it was an indoor pool!

Our favorite centerpieces :)

Bath time!

Proof that Jake played at least ONE game on vacation :)

Jumping on Poppop! When we were little my dad was always the fun uncle on vacation and we were all allowed to jump on him to wake him up... now my girls continue the tradition!
Little cousins!
Talking to Aunt Amy!
Swimming with Poppop!
Totally engaged in a conversation... even at 2 months old!
Last night together... no one wanted to go to bed... so sad it was ending!
Look at these adorable little toddler beds they had in our room!
All tucked in for the night!
Our room also had a crib in it... Lucy slept like 18 hours a day on vacation... she knows how to relax!
Every morning my mom did a "fairy hunt" with the girls. Her grandmother started this tradition with her, my Mommom did it with me, and now my mom does it with her grandkids! The legend is that the fairies live in the woods and every night they leave behind a little trail of fairy dust (cotton ball fluff) that leads little children on vacation to a special spot where they leave little presents for them. This was the highlight of every day for my girls!

Necklaces for the big girls, head bands for the baby girls, a cute blue shoes for Amy's baby boy!

Yay for vacation... so hard to come home and deal with the reality that Jeff and Angie are leaving for a year only to come back and move to a new house in a new area and plant a new church... we are going to miss them more than words can say! So grateful for these memories together!

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
