Highlights from April

Stephen got baptised on April 3rd! Such an exciting moment to see the last Boettcher publically testify their loyalty to Christ!

The old is gone...

The new has come!

God saved Stephen's life when my mom was carrying him. She hemorranged when she was 6 weeks pregnant with him, but his little sac was right above the hemorrange and when they did an ultrasound his little heart was still found beating! God saved his life once to save it again! Praising God for the work He has done in Stephen's life!!

April 12th we went to the aquarium with Naomi, Ava, and Nora. Kenzie has been once before when she was 12 days old! I remember nursing her there and it was the first time she pooped up her back in a public place! Luckily my mother-in-law was with me because that was a 2 person job in a public bathroom with a newborn! So much changes in 3 years... now I have 2 kids that looked like the practically went swimming with the stingrays!

Getting ready to touch a stingray!

Gymnastics on Tuesdays have been a highlight! Kenzie has grown so much in following directions and waiting her turn in line! I love all the kids she gets to be in class with. The older ones really look out for the younger ones.

April 13th we got to watch Ella and Alaythia for the day! We had so much fun making cookies together!

Believe it or not, all 4 kids slept for 2 hours and so did this mama!! When we all woke up I was really impressed by the way Kenzie played kindly with Alaythia while Ella read to Aubrey! Such good big sisters!

We had a few warmish nights in April and Jake had a fun idea to roast marshmellows one family night in our fire pit. I couldn't find marshmellows at the grocery store, so I bought peeps instead (ok, I didn't really look that hard cuz I thought peeps would be more fun anyway!)

Daddy teaching Kenzie how to roast it just right!

Lucy liked the peeps too!

Peeps are so good over the fire!

We really weren't ignoring our second born... she just refused to let her peep get anywhere close to the fire! She was all about eating as many as she could as fast as she could!

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
