Mother's Day :)

We celebrated the "eve" of Mother's Day with my side of the family, that way the actual day all three four of us mother's could celebrate with our own families. We had everyone over for dinner and roasted Peeps for dessert!
My dad was very intent on getting his Peep roasted to perfection!

It's these moments of watching my family enjoy each other that help me make it through the difficult days of toddlerhood... someday Jake and I will be sitting around a fire with a mulitplied family that loves each other... if we can just survive the hard moments now!

It was great having Andy's girlfriend "Miss But-nen-EE" join us... the girls love her!

Amy was trying to minimize the size of Andrew's "Jimmy Neutron head"... but there isn't much hope for that, is there? (He is the one that pointed out he has a Jimmy Neutron head and rapter
arms and now you know we just can't let that go!) My poor sister has been SO sick with this pregnancy! She is almost 12 weeks, so here is hoping it was just a first trimester thing!

And here I am surrounded by 3 of my 4 greatest blessings! Both the girls got fevers on Mother's Day and they were extra cuddly!

Pregnancy Update: 12 days till my due date. Thought I was in labor on Saturday. Had contractions 3 mins appart for 8 hrs. They never got worse, but they were very consistant. Went to the hospital and 12 a.m., got hooked up to monitors, at this point the contractions stopped, and we went home at 2 a.m. I felt like such a loser!! They were just Braxton-Hicks! I thought that Braxton-Hicks didn't hurt, but apparently they do hurt, they just don't dilate you like the real deal does! I haven't felt much since then. Still feel really, really good. Grateful that my third pregnancy has been my easiest one!

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
