Easter!!

Well, our girls sure had their fair share of egg hunts this year... 5 in total (not including the "practice" hunts they set up for themselves!) The last one was at my mom's after church and she had a basket for everyone... even Lucy and Amy's baby who is affectionately called "Santino" even though we do not know what she is having yet (and if it is a boy, don't worry, there is no way in heck Amy would let "Santino" fly!)

Waiting for the hunt to begin!

Snapped right before she fell down the stairs in all her excitement!

Looking for the presents Memom hid... that one was for Lucy... it was a matching outfit to wear with Sophie this fall!

What did she get? Why, Tinkerbell panties, of course!

And Aubrey scored a Dora bathing suit... she adores anything with Dora or Boots on it... she went nuts and tried to wear it right then!

Memom with her "Egg Hunters"

Poppop did the Resurrection Eggs with Kenzie. We are all trying to teach her that Jesus didn't die and come back to life so she could eat jelly beans as she was so proudly proclaiming to everyone before we sat down to eat!

Our hysterical attempts at a family picture... maybe we'll have better luck next year!

Picture of my belly at 35 weeks!! This is Lucy's room!! Jake did an amazing job with the drywall, paint, chair rail, and crown molding!

View from the other side, there is a glare on the wall from the mirror and Jake is still fixing the broken drawer on the dresser. That dress that is hanging on the shelf was my Mommom's... it's 71-years-old!! The blanket on the rocking chair is the blanket that my Nana knit for me when I was born! I'm so excited to have another girl and get to use these treasures in this room

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
