Yea... I'm still here...

Just in case you were wondering... no baby yet =(

I feel fine, my blood pressure is fine, and no signs of any baby coming anytime soon. Jake bought me pizza tonight to help keep me distracted (he knows the way to my heart is through Papa John's right now!)

So I'm not in the hospital, but my brother Jeff is. He is having a Crohn's flare up again and he'll be in the hospital at least until Monday. They're trying to avoid surgery at all costs. Jeff and Angie just settled on their house today in the hospital room! Everyone met there so Jeff could sign the papers and then Angie had to go back with them to the office to finish up. She is so amazing... I would be so overwhelmed at the idea of doing that on my own! She is doing a wonderful job taking care of my brother! It's hard as his sister to see him in pain, I can't imagine what it must be like as his wife! When they went to the ER on Wed. night they didn't get a room all night and she sat in a chair while he slept on a stretcher... what a wonderful wife! And Jeff is doing a great job looking out for her as well, even in the midst of excruciating pain he was asking for a bed for his wife to sleep in, but it was wall to wall people and there was nothing they could do for her.

Hopefully I'll be joining my brother in the hospital soon!

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
