Andy and Brittany Part 2

Easter Morning before church, the rest of these pictures are of Andy and Brit's engagement!
And they are all in order backwards... so follow backwards with me as we go through their elaborate engagement story!
They came over to our house on Saturday night so the girls could see the ring on her finger! And that night they got asked to be the flower girls... Lucy too! They went nuts!
Kenzie offered to wear her Rapunzel wig if they would like her to have long hair for the wedding!
Absolutely freaking out that Miss Brittany gets to be their Aunt Brittany!

Andy: "Guess what girls! Miss Brittany is going to marry me!! Now she can be your Aunt Brittany!"
The couple in love!
Beautiful! Andy took us all with him to pick out rings, but when it came down to it, he didn't need our help! He knew exactly what he wanted! It was still really special to be included!
Showing her Mama!
He did it!!
If you can zoom in on this picture you can see him down on his knee getting the ring out!

The "spies"... who had permission from Andy to be there spying!

Getting blindfolded to go to her final destination!
I was one of her stops in the scavenger hunt he sent her on! I had a special box from Andy with me that had a flash drive in it. The flash drive contained a slide show of the two of them and their entire relationship that they watched together on his lap top before he proposed. Best part of the slide show was that it was put to a song that he wrote and sang and played on the piano and then recorded for her!
She had lots of other stops on her scavenger hunt. The first stop was at her house where her friend gave her flowers and a collage of tons of pictures of them and a clue to the next stop. Then she went to a park that is special to them and her other friend gave her an encouragement note and clue to the next place. Then she went to a nail salon and Amy was there. She got her nails manicured and then got a clue to come meet me at this park. She was blindfolded for her final destination of Scotland Run. The place that he proposed is the same place that he asked her to be his girlfriend two years ago, right after her best friend got married! It is a very romantic spot!
We all checked out the goods once Brit hit the road for her scavenger hunt with her mom. Sophie was either crying that she couldn't have the ring or couldn't have a snickers bar... but I think she looks adorable when she is mad!

Kenzie was "in" on it... once Brit left :)
Brit got her first clue for her scavenger hunt in an Easter egg in her basket. It was so hard to contain ourselves all day... this egg hunt took forever and we were all trying to be normal about it... so hard!
And my gorgeous baby... who thinks she looks gorgeous in this necklace and wears it all the time. And she thought she was going to get away with a Snickers bar even though Sophie couldn't... not quite... she may be a third born, but even third borns have limits!

About Me

My photo
I am a sinner saved by grace and I married my best friend, Jake, in May 2005! God has blessed us with three adorable little girls that we get to raise together in a beautiful home in the most charming neighborhood in America! They are a joy to raise and continually make us aware of our need for a Savior! We are thankful the Lord did not leave us in our sin, but sent His Son Jesus to die in our place, bearing the just wrath of God that we deserved, and giving to us Christ's righteousness instead. Through His grace and forgiveness, we now are free to love Him who saved us and to extend the mercy we've been shown to each other. We pray our little ones will come to know Christ and that we will be faithful to proclaim the good news of Jesus to them not only with our words, but with our actions and our interactions with each other. So please enjoy reading about the Moon family, we're so glad you stopped by!
